I do like this image, my only complaint is that you posted it large enough that I have to scroll up and down to see it so I can't really see the whole image at once. I like the nice DOF and the range of tones in the B&W. I wonder if this would be just a tad better if the mushroom wasn't so centered left to right. Maybe a slight shift toward the right so that it's less static. Otherwise, a very nice shot.

I like the photo but I feel that a cropping is in order. I would crop some off the top and like PrevailingConditions suggested the crop would uncenter the mushroom.
