    One Hour Valet--Feedback?

Taken last Saturday on my trip to the museum. This neon sign hung outside a local establishment for years. The two vertical 'bars' are holding the sign in place.

i think it needs something else to show ..........i can't think of the word......... to show it's size. because, if all we can see is that, the sign could be 2 feet tall or 12. and it looks like w/b needs some work

I agree that a bit more of the surroundings to show scale would be nice but I don't agree that it needs a WB adjustment. You've captured the glow of the neon and it looks as if I was standing right there looking at real neon.

Maybe show the store front it is hanging over as well to show the scale and to highlight the signs purpose. Otherwise ou have a nice shot of a nice sign with no context to hold my attention.

Point taken on the size issue. There's no way of showing the true dimensions, as it's mounted in a recessed wall of the museum. Unfortunately the building it was attached to is long gone, so that's out. I might go back and get a shot of the whole wall in which the sign is placed for more of a size aspect to it.

I like the glow of light around the edges, and the white balance is ok here for me. I see the stand it sits on at the bottom and the two rods holding it at the top, so I see it is not hanging off a store but i agree the tight crop leaves us wanting to know more about this sign.
