    One Day In Pasadena

I had business in Pasadena this week that required spending the night. So, with camera in hand took a walk around the downtown. Here are three from my adventure. The building is Pasadena City Hall; the sculputre is Jackie and Mack Robinson who were residents of Pasadena; finally, kids playing in a water feature at an outdoor mall.

    Hope you like them.

David, The building made me laugh - when it came up I leant to the left to straighten it up, but other than that it looks good, lighting and the arch framing it.

I like the lighting on the busts that is a nice capture

The last one bothers me purely because of the headless torso other than that it looks good.

Yep, other than the straightening thing, I like the first and second much better than the third.

Thanks for the tips. That is exactly what this forum is for; I had given the city hall shot a leveling but it obvioulsy could use a few more degrees. As for the water feature shot, it was something fun to play with while out exploring downtown Pasadena.

    Thanks again.

Love the framing and light on the first and hope more straightening won't kill the framing.
I really like the second except for the blown out sky.
The third is a fun shot.
    Keep Shooting!

    Frog,

Thanks for leaving your thoughts. I have straightened out the first shot without compromising the shot; try as I may I could not capture the essence of the sculpture and the harsh sky; kids and water are pure entertainment.

    Thanks again.
