    Which One

I posted one of these at the beginning of the week. I will go into the darkroom this weekend to print one. Not sure which one. Also any suggestions would be appreciated to improve the photo(s). They were scanned from a contact sheet so some dodging and burning improvements will be made. After posting I can see I desaturated one and not the other.

Tough choice, Gerry. I guess I would choose the top one.

But I think both are a little busy - difficult to find a point of focus, eye just wanders - and I'm not sure a crop would help that. Possibly a re-shoot (if that is possible...) with a lower prespective showing the water rushing or rocks closer and larger in the foreground, leading the eye to the bridge in the distance? Or maybe two seperate shots - one of the bridge in it's own frame and one of the mini-waterfalls?

I guess I also prefer the first one, possibly because there's a bit more contrast in the trees. Tough choice, both are fine shots.

    How's This?

2nd one cropped. Still a little busy but I plan on wet printing it about 10X13 which should provide sone detail and textures (hopefuly) in the objects and calm it down. Any other crops are welcome

Much better. I liked the second more initially because of shapes made by the rocks in the foreground, but both were kind of busy as you noted. A little judicious cropping helped IMO.

I agree, the crop on the second image is the better of the bunch. The larger rock formations in the foreground of the second shot cuts down on the busy feel, and the crop enhances even further.
