A railroad that is across the street from me..........I can't decide if I like this shot or not.

I like the lonely almost desolate feel of the shot but the tracks not being even where the leave the shot at the bottom disturbs my sense of balance. I think if you would have backed up to a point where the tracks straightened out and taken the shot from there with them curving out of the shot to the left it would work a little better.

I find myself photographing RR tracks too. There's something comforting walking along them when it's safe to do so. As for the image try pushing the contrast a little and see what happens. The image looks a little flat to me, again that could be my monitor.
