    Old Quebec

Some pictures from last May on a vacation to Old QC, taken with an HP photosmart *insert number here*, 1 megapixel camera *shudder* First one is the original, second is of it in dry brush technique...Any comments (aside from the crookedness ;) ) on the picture are appreciated.

I like it! The photo anyway, not so much the special effects. I like how the tree has the same colors as the building. I agree with you that you should straighten it out. I'm also not sure that I like the lamp on the left side, maybe crop that out?

The photo with the effect is wonderful, it reminds me of Monet. Very nice.

I agree with Payn817. The moment it appeared on screen it had that "Impressionist" feel and look to it. It survives the extra effect reasonably well but it does not need it.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

Thank you. How would one go about straightening it out (using photoshop). I'm not the greatest at it yet.
