    Old-and-new

A image taken on the runway at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, USA, on 3 April 2004.
It was a 'Open House' for the public.

    Camera: Nikon N8008s
    Lens: AF 24-85mm f2.8D~ Nikkor
    Film: Kodak Gold 100
    Filter: B+W Red-enhancer

Photoshop LE used to make the B&W image,
and ** add ** the aircraft in the sky.
The original image had a some-what blurred fighter aircraft above the prop-powered aircraft.

I like the shot of the bipe and looks great in b&w. I would like it better without the fighter jet in the shot, although I know your theme was old and new. Actually, this is not an old plane, I believe it is a fairly modern stunt biplane. I have built and flown a couple of these as gas powered radio controlled models. I think without the fighter plane , this is a great pic.

I would scale the F-15 down about another 10% to achieve a more realistic look. I think it's pretty good as it is, but it looks too close to the plane on the ground (to me at least). Not saying it couldn't actually look this way, but if it were me I'd shrink the jet down a little more.

    I have achieved nirvana.
