Route 66, now that's where I would have a great time with my camera!
Maybe one of these days (distance) :-)

Good shot, maybe the tree is slightly distracting.
Now that sun is a nice touch. People might say it's slightly distracting, but I think it's an important elment in the image, sun and gas, both energy sources, it makes the image stronger in my opinion.

    Well done.

I kind of think the tree adds a touch of personality to the picture, it gives it an old run down look, but still it has the contrast of bright colors. The sun is distracting, and while I like the picture with the sun, I think I would also like it without the sun. Either way it's a good shot. I had to come back a couple times to look at it before I commented, but everytime I came back I was sure that I liked this photograph very much.

Not bad at all. Really gives a feel for the place.

I would say that you could probably afford to back off the focal length a bit, in order to give a little more context of the place / hills behind the station. Also, the tree doesn't work in this particular composition IMO. While it does add some flavor to the shot, it doesn't seem to fit in such a small / focused context.
