    Old Garage

    heres a shot of an old garage on my way home i kinda like it lol

    That's neat. Not sure if it's the 'money shot' though. I feel like there's another angle or something that would be better. Maybe not?

    The darkness doesn't bother me (though I do think it could be ~ 1/3 f stop brighter). But what I really think is that you need to crop in and fill the image with more of the building. There's just too little information on the building's detail. What the viewer is instead left with is the composition of the building in the greater surrounding, but that in itself isn't strong enough to put this picture over the top. Maybe a bit more DOF, also - if the bottom grass was sharper for example I think it would work better. Hope this helps - GB

    I like the subject but think when you have that much foliage in a shot it is hard to make high contrast b&w work. There are just to many of the same tones. I think you should take your zoom lens and make a picture of the two windows above. Good luck on the return.

    My personal feeling is that it's just too dark. Compositionally (if thats such a word), I think it's ok. There seems to be a lot of bush around the garage, not too sure on how another angle would work, but I guess you'll never know until you find out ;)
