    The Old Fire Tower

It rained all day and I was stuck in the house. But the sun popped through late so I went to an old fire tower my friends had told me about. I am not sure if I should make a return visit or not. At first I wasn't liking the sky but there is a little color there and it grew on me. I think it would be tough getting much more than this thru the dirty window. I always have a vision of what I want before I get there. This is close, I guess.
Let me know should I return or let this on stand. This is a very small room and this was shot a 8mm.

I think there are enough possibilities to warrant a return. Could you lighten the foreground a bit without blowing out the sky? Are those two bird eggs lying on the floor just under the edge of the table?

Here is another edit, yes those are dove eggs. Several flew away when I got to the top.

I like the second one but I see white lines all around the window frames due to PP, you should use different technique to avoid creating those lines.

I went back and took a look in Lightroom and I really don't see haloing or CA I think that is just the reflection of the edge of the windows? Thanks.

This place is definitely worth a revisit reshoot, etc. Such great character. The fact that it has such great views is a plus also. I personally liked your first shot. I don't mind that the interior is a bit darker, that's expected. I think the lightened foreground makes it a bit more unrealistic for me. Love the first one.

Also if you could get someone to sit there for you. that would be a great portrait. :-)

Thanks Liban. The portrait idea is a good one.
