    Old Fence

    These old hand split posts and battens have been keeping stock in for many years

    Its a nice view, and looks like a good exposure to me.

    Thing is, I looked at it as close as I could and it doesn't seem sharp. Perhaps its me.

    I believe this one could be stronger by taking 5 steps to the left and shooting along the fence rather than across it. Your horizon is level which is good, but is centered in the frame which is generally not - set it up so the horizon is either above or below the center more.

    There are a few of those old hand split fences around here, will try to implement your suggestions and re shoot this or another when the conditions are suitable. Thanks for feed back.

    The saturation looks high on this or the contrast. Can't pinpoint it but to me it could be toned down a little.
