I was struck by the shape of the branckes, almost all leading down to the nest.
Does it work, or not?

I love the shot, though the branches seem to bright for this shot compared to the dark bird and the dark water. Compositionally, this shot is bang on for me, the branches draw your eye right to the bird, but the brightness concerns me.

Well done, and might be able to fix it with some post processing,
