I think you should have gone with a portrait format which would get all of the gloves in and include less bare ground.

I agree w/ MB here that vertical format would definitely be an advantage.

Working with what you have though, since both gloves are clipped off (a bad thing I think), you might as well exaggerate it. I would crop off part of the top glove even more, then go ahead and crop out the blank sides of the image. This might create more of a box-shaped format.
