    Offering

    What do you think of this shot?

    When I saw it through the viewfinder I found it wonderfully interesting. Now I'm not sure about it.

    I don't think it is one of your best Andy. I see what you were thinking, but it is a bit confusing and distracting. There is either too much of the model or not enough of the candy cane.
    Maybe if she were in focus, it might be a more successful image.

    I agree, Brian - and the more I look at it, I didn't get the serious look of "longing" I was trying to get from her - it looks more like she's a bit angry or.... in not so nice terms... demonic.

    I see the problems with this image, but I like the idea so much that in the absence of a better example I find this quite suitable.
