    Interesting!
Not sure its something I'd want but it is an interesting composition and the light and focus are good.
Almost like the mirrors are eyes looking at the books.
It appears that you were shooting in tight quarters and didn't have a lot of room for angles but if some of the face of the books was visible, I'd prefer it.
    Keep Shooting!

    Re: Occulus

I like the composition on this shot and the reflections in the lenses works for me. It looks very Harry Potter'ish/Library/Museum

However, I think you need to tidy up the bottom right where the white comes through and just either crop it out or paste in another section of wood to replace it. The other issue that I have is the brass knob/lock or something which needs to be removed to make it even better.

It looks like there is barrel distortion showing especially around the item on the left and I think it would be much better if it was removed so the verticals become vertical in the image.

Hey read, yup. Didn't even see the white line. Lame editing mistake. I agree about the handle too. It is an odd shape that looks messy and out of focus. And yeah I was shooting this with a wide angle lens I picked up for the G11. Definitely barrel distortion creeping in, but I don't yet know how to fix that. I don't think pshop cs2 does that. Or maybe it does. And Frog I do have shots that show the covers. I will throw one in this thread for comparison, but I think the shot I used was the best, but maybe some comments on the others will help.

Both Elements and CS has barrel distortion correction, I think they come under the filters. I will check this out when I get home on Tuesday, as the laptop I have here doesn't have PSE or CS installed yet.
