The obligatory flower shot

Caught this Hibiscus flower this afternoon, and had Susaan's B&W vs Color dilemma in mind when doing PP. Wondering if either of these work for anyone else. Each are a 3 layer blend of color and grayscale.

I need to learn these layering techniques. Just downloaded GIMP, I think they have a program in there for that.
