    Nuts To You

Took a tour of Petco Park a few days ago. The stadium is constructed of massive iron beams/girders bolted (GO BOLTS!!) together to form the superstructure. These nuts (are they still called nuts when they are this big?) are two inches across.

    Frog/Tiff:

I hestitate, just for a moment, on the title for this shot. Seemed fitting thought.

    Thanks for the comments.

CF - I really like the left side. It's well lit, has an interesting angle. The right side is Ok too but just too dark and seems to make the shot feel improviso. Still, nice geometry.

    Re: Nuts To You

    GB,

Thanks for noticing that difference in the lighting. I wasn't sure at all how this would work but I thought the stark difference would be a positive, each playing off the other as a sort of enhancer to each other. I was more concerned about the straight line running right through the middle but that doesn't seem to be an issue for anyone.

    Thanks again for the comments.

    Re: Nuts To You

I like the composition and lighting.

The only thing that would improve this is something to give scale as there is really no way to tell how large these are and size seems to be part of what you are trying to show.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Agreed. I wondered about that too. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
