    Not a nautical themed-pashmina

    It's a rope! And it was photographed while on a charter cruise in NYC. I think the colours really turned out wonderfully on this one but let me know what you think about the composition.

    I think it's shot with the 50 f/1.4 (I'm too lazy to check the exif right now) and keep in mind this was during noon-like sunshine.

    I like the colors, the reflection of the rope on the rail and the composition except for the rope going out of frame on the bottom. If the entire rope would have been in frame I would have given this two :thumbsup: :thumbsup: , Jeff

    I agree, the colors all work well with the lighting, but the composition needs to be a bit stronger.

    I agree. Its turned out to be one of those 'if only' photos.
    If you're really good with post processing you could clone that rope to make it appear to make a loop in frame but you'd have to be way better than I am.
