    No Title

This is one of the very first photographs I took with a 35mm slr camera. Taken sometime in the seventies in the midlands of Ireland and I've always had a soft spot for it.
Having rooted it out I have given it a bit of Photoshopping to liven it up a bit (if that's possible ).
What do you think? and I would welcome suggestions for a title.
If I get lots of title suggestions I will then let you know who wins ;).

Terrific composition, excellent contrast and the grain adds to the pic

    Re: No Title

Hmm, Interesting shot. I love the black and white, yet it jsut seems a tad too grainy for me. I love the perspective, and how you still have the factory in the background. As you can tell, alot of the title suggestions come from that theme.

    Good shot and lovely setting,

    Jared

Wonderfully composed. The content, appearance and "texture" all have the look of an old photo in a 1940's photobook.

    Re: No Title

Thanks to everyone for your positive comments on this one.
It's a dead heat between you all, for second place I'm afraid because a friend today suggested "Whats Left" and it went straight to number one (in its first second of release)!

I visit and participate in a few other forums but have to say this one is the best, most interesting and most informative, by far.

Hmmmm, I could go for "What's Left" as a great title for the photo. Shucks, I can't even find the first photo's I took with a 35 mm - but there sure were not this good ;)

    Re: No Title

It reminds me of the pink floyd album "Animals"

this photo has probably more character with the graveyard in the foreground and the grainy b&w

Gosh! How has my old thread now become a new thread? Is that you Greg?

Sorry, I got a bit confused in my old age. I understand now.

Tom's work has been mentioned with Pink Floyd in the past.
