No idea what to title this one...

Driving out in one of the most backwater spots in Idaho, I came upon this...I wasn't really sure how best to crop/modify it, so I pretty much left it how I shot it, except for a WB adjustment and some sharpening...

Wow what a subject!!! Kind of has that "Everything except the kitchen sink" feel to it, but of course, it's a stove! Lovely shot and no idea on a title!

Another great subject and no crop needed. I'm just wondering why you do not adj. the levels on your pics as they seem to just come straight out of the camera.

That's a good question...Levels seems to be the adjustment that I always forget about, but not anymore...But hey, that's why I'm here...To learn. Thanks for your advice and encouragement.

Excellent - the only criticism is the white structure to the right of the picture, kept grabbing my attention trying to figure out what it is. It looked like a monkey's face initially! And then there is the second face in the middle above the door way. so many things to see!

As for a title - the first one that jump into my head was - "You're only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off"!

Very nice! I'd say go for a much tighter crop. To me, the story is the structure and it's contents...

    Title? "Dry Bones"

Nice capture of an interesting subject. Did you take some closer shots?

Re: No idea what to title this one...

    Hi,
lovely photo, I think the subject in this has a lot of potential. It has a lot of rustic character. It makes me want to know the 'story' and history of this little cottage. Might i suggest, though, a different point of view. Perhaps a shot from low down on the ground to increase the sensation of depth and bring the background down into the shot. Or what could also be interesting, if possible, is a more elevated view again. Experiment with different view points, you will be pleasantly surprised at the change it can make to an image.
Either way, your eye has chosen a very interesting subject to work with. Well Done.
    Michael
