    The eye is nice and sharp
    I just find the bottom of the picture a little odd, the way it is all cut off.

    wow - i agree about the bottom of the pic, but that is a nice shot of his/her eyeball.
    I'd experiment all day wit' his eyes wit' closeup shots like this - what lens are you using?

    on that one I use the new Nikon 60mm 2.8G micro with a friends D3.

    highly recommend both... ;)
