    Matt,

I like the shadows, except the overexposed on on his face. It's a great idea, and the tones are great, yet that one spot is a little distracting!

    Nice concept,

    Re: Dozing

Cheers Jared - I'm at my parents house at the mo, and I borrowed their rather unsophisticated little digital camera to grab this shot. This meant I had no real control over the exposure values, which isn't ideal for shooting a high contrast subject. I did what I could to tone it down, but you're right, it is distracting. Still, I'm not going to let something like that stop me from shooting when I walk into a room and the shadows look that cool!

    Re: Dozing

    Dear Matt,

I really like the play of shadows and light across the sculpture. It works quite well with this one. The one thing I would say though, is that the top of the head is kind of cut off by the deep shadows. But then again, point and shoots don't do well in those kind of situations. But you pulled it off quite nicely despite circumstances. Very nice.

    Re: Dozing

I like the idea and I think its working pretty good. I am just feeling like it needs a little more space around. . and the lighting is distracting from the subject a bit with all the shadows and the bright spots. But I still like it as it is and think you have a good subject.
