    Night Shots

Not the first time I've shot this area (or posted the results for critique), but C&Cs welcome. I hope to hit another area in the next day or two with the full moon illuminating things so nicely,.

I think this is a series meant for HDR. I feel like you missed a lot of the detail in the shadows

For what it's worth I really like the shot on the right #2 I guess, I'd probably only crop a bit off the bottom. S

    Re: Night Shots

hey GB, shoot like half an hour after sunset. when there's a bit of light in the sky. hmm. i'll try and attach the colour of the sky to the visible eye. That's the best time to shoot the night shots. That way it insures that there isn't that much contrast between sky and the lights. and you'll get a much better exposure. The best way to explain the time I'm talking about is when the sun has completely set, but there's a tiny bit of light still lingering in the sky and hence making it a deep blue. Like this colour.

Out of the 3, I think the 1st two work best and are more balanced. the bright light in the 3rd kills it for me.
