    Night Scene

I don't know about this one. Just throwing it out there. Any CC is appreciated.

Edit: Also, I don't know if this happens to you guys, but sometimes I get this feeling that i've already shared the shot. I looked back and couldn't find it. Weird, if you guys seen this before, let me know.

    Re: Night Scene

Can't remember seeing this, but I would as it's a great shot. I might have tried this by getting to a lower vantage point to shoot across and not down, but it's a great B&W. S

Great shot. The exposure looks to be perfect, with just the right amount of detail in the shadows

Did you shoot RGB and convert? If so what settings did you use?

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

Byron, I shot rgb and converted using channel mixer in photoshop, I also did some PP, as in some dodging and burning to bring a bit of the shadows back in.

Btw, how did you get the image so nice and clean. i really like what you did to it.

Why don't you know about this one?

I'm asking because I'm not sure I can find fault.

    Re: Night Scene

This is a great night shot and I can see why you were attracted to it. Byron's cleanup on the power line going between the buildings was the only thing needed as far as I'm concerned.

    Good work!

    Re: Night Scene

It has a lot going for it Liban. To put it shortly, it seems that I've seen this shot in a lot of old movies where Humphrey Bogart exits a restaurant or bar through the back door to talk to someone in private (lol). Its weakness from a standalone photograph aspect is what I think one would say about any photo - needs a subject, sort of split in half, yada yada.. But it's still nice in a retro way, and the lighting is especially catchy..

    Re: Night Scene

    Thanks guys.

Seth, it's like GB said, it lacks a subject. I think if a shot is to hold attention, it's gotta be effective by itself or needs a subject to help it. This one in my eyes isn't strong enough in itself, and it lacks that subject ;-)

penny, i didn't even see those power lines, until now. lol. thanks
