    Night Falls

My son wanted to go hiking on his 21 birthday. He also wanted to go to Little River Canyon. To get to river level you have to hike about an hour and I have never made it to river level really before the sun rises over the canyon and the lighting gets harsh, but I took this one just before sunrise and before we set out on the hike. The moon was straight above. 60 sec exposure f/3.1 at 200ISO. Does it work at all? My mom loves it, but she is my mom, right?

Nice shot. The moonlit falls really work for me.

What is the light colored object in the bottom-right of the photo ? It distracts a little
    from a fantastic shot.

    Thanks for sharing this.

This is an effective result Greg and I like it overall, there are a few specs to the left of the waterfall that you might want to address but they are small points, the contrast between the water and the sharp rocks is great and I think you have a great result considering this was a 60 second exposure. Why ISO 200 and not something lower? It is interesting to see so thanks for sharing!

Dave I am not sure what that is, but I will clone it. Thanks.
Herriot, The E3 is limited to 60sec unless you have a shutter release and shoot in Bulb. I don't have one. 100ISO at 60secs wasn't enough exposure. I will clone the specs. Thanks for pointing them out..
    Thanks Jetrim

    Greg ...

You may want to just burn it a little to tone it down.

Nice shot. I'd crop top left and bottom..the falls are the star of this shot and the rest doesn't add much, imho.

This is good, Greg. Great capture of the moonlit falls. I agree with Frog about cropping in tighter. Very nice.

Thanks again Dave. Thanks Gary, Frog. I will give it a go with the crop suggestion.
