    Herriot,

Wouldn't change a thing. Very well balanced, lots of subject matter, and beautiful exposure and colors.

    Bravo,

This is an eye-grabbing shot. Like another reviewer said, full of light and of symmetry. My only nitpick with it is the roadway seems a little overexposed. The only way to change that would be to have fewer cars on the road. Nothing wrong with this, however. Nice shot!

Herriot, I love shots like this...where it's obviously a busy time/place, but you managed to capture it without it feeling cluttered. REALLY nice. I love the colors and lights in this. :)

I really like it, for several reasons, the colors grab the eyes, the motion makes it where you can feel the image, and I like how it is split, being even on both sides. Im a big fan of motion shots too. keep em coming :-)

This a well composed shot! The staircases on either side look like feeder ramps to the 'light flow' and are particularly strong elements being positioned slightly off axis from one another. The night sky provides strong inverted leading lines and negative space all in one to shape the photograph. The urban feel is heightened by the overhead concrete. Fine urban photograph here Herriot! Glad to see it and Thanks for sharing it !

Well done ..lots of sharp smooth lines at least for me. Just one quick point ,when taking such a shot remember your topic...for me the cement on top is a little distracting. BUT I love the Photo WELL DONE.

Oh my... looking at this exciting image, I feel a whole bunch of 'inspirations' coming my way. Gonna have to try something like this...Shutter Speed - 10 seconds Aperture - F22 and ISO - 800 you say.... (noted). There is no way I can compete with your shot so I will not try to upstage you, but your shot is dramatic enough to inspire...

    Herriot,

The shot is lovely. Speed of light for the information super highway!!

Why ISO 800 - get that ISO down to 100 or 50 and the colours would be much better and the blow outs less worrying.

I never use anything higher that ISO 50 for night shots.

    Re: Night drive
Thank you all for your comments, I am happy with the image, particularly the orange glow and the street lights to the left of the image. Just to note that the concrete structure at the top of the image carries the sky train so I have ideas to try and capture the movement there as well (although this would impact the sense of symmetry).

Roger, your recommendation to help minimise the potential for overexposing elements of the shot has been noted, your Portsmouth Tower post has really inspired me to experiment with some different approaches.

Paul had similar input on a previous post, I have taken note.
