    Night at California Adventure

I took these tonight wanting to try some low light, long exposure effects. Of course I forgot my tripod so I had to use railings, benches, etc.

Great location for night shooting. On my calibrated monitor they look plenty bright enough and you might even be able to decrease the exposure to increase the strength of the colors.

If it is easy for you to get back there you might try shooting these closer to sunset to get a touch of color in the sky-still they look great.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Not bad for without a pod. i agree with MB1 in that you can come down a bit on exposure and bring the colors out some more. also, I think your WB could be too warm as there is much yellow in these.
I think the compositions are fine but the framing is too tight on these. i would loosen up on the crops some.

Yeah, I figured the cropping was tight because the original framing was kind of poor since I didn't plan on isolating the ferris wheel, and I was just too close to the spinny thingy. I will also watch the WB. We have season passes so I'll make a return trip soon. Thanks.

    p.s.
Is there a way to add panoramic shots to posts and make them larger?

I like this series. #2 especially grabs my attention.
