    Nice expression.....sorta demented in a way. I think your angle of the shot plays into that.

    I think with more space in the bottom left so you can get his entire hand, it would be stronger. the backlight works very well, with some wb correction to get rid of the extreme coolness it may like a little warmer and friendlier. good expression though, and good timing.

    Straight up edit. Shadow/Highlight to lighten the subject, noise reduction (mainly jpeg artifacting), and sharpening. Initially, I wasn't happy with the noise reduction. Although it was done through an edge filter, it softened some of the freckles quite a bit. However in looking at it, that seems to have had the effect of emphasizing the facial expression, so I left it in.

    It looks a lot better with the face brightened up and softened. I'll have to take that advice. Thanks.
