    Nice Smile

Met this green tree frog tonight and he was kind enough to let me take his picture with a D70 and 90mm Tamron macro plus 1.4x Tamron teleconverter.

    Great closeup!

Where'd you find the little bugger? Wish I had some of those around me instead of flies and mosquitoes.

    Hey LL,

That is just great! Awesome focus, dof, & exposure. Not much for me to add. What's he sitting on? Looks metallic. Whatever it is, it's a nice neutral color/texture to help bring out your subject.

    Cheers,
    Tim

Thanks. I live in Southeastern U.S near a small lake. There is not much scale here in the picture, but these frogs are about the size of your thumb. You find them late in the evening, sometimes on windows, but often when you take the cover of the barbecue grill, etc. -- anything covered up.

Thank you. The frog is sitting on an overturned black wheel-barrow. You have good eyes to see the metallic texture. One nice thing about photographing frogs in general is that they tend to let you get relatively close, hoping you don't see them.
