Speedway... on grass... no brakes... with sidecars??

Well, I was bamboozled by what I was seeing.

Speeding motorbikes, on grass (well, dust really) with no brakes, racing in circles, sometimes with, er... sidecars attached.

    Crikey.

Here are the results. After making a fortune with my mousemats (I've netted a whopping £2.43 in royalties so far), I'm going to try and corner the grasstrack speedway market. Wish me luck! I may need it.

    Next stop, ice hockey.

Really great shots as you usually do. I like them in the order that you posted. Those "sidecar" racers are very cool with the team mate factor. Shifting from one side to the other for balance it appears. They look like a ton of fun. Great shots, Gmen. Glad to see all the loot rolling in ;)

    Hello gmen

I take back what I said in an earlier post about not being enthrolled by sports shots. These are supurb....lots of action and colour.........you should do well selling these.

Really like #4...nice low angle showing the dirt and riders with the tyre off the ground etc.

Had a laugh at #2. What's his backside doing in the air????? Looks like his head is buried in the bike somehow.

Good luck with your ventures at ice hockey..

    Gmen,
I think these are great (as are all of your sport shots!), and I think each one here really has so much character and a story behind that shot. Love the guys bum in the air. Took me a while to see what that was.
    Great detail and light.

I think everyone has conveyed my feeling about these images. These are really great shots. I really don't have a favorite, I like them all. I have heard about this motorbike sport, and think they're crazy
    Great color and motion.

Thanks folks... I really appreciate all the feedback. It was a super sport to shoot - a good mixture of the predictable and the occasional unexpected moment. My previous motorsport efforts gave me a bit more confidence in shooting these bikes.
