    Hello Kyflash

Welcome to the PR critique board! Sorry we missed you in the first pass. I would be happy to critique your image. This is a gladiola blossom right?

There are some fundamental problems with the composition of this image.

First the crop is too tight, the side facing flower is clipped on the left, the front facing flower is clipped on the right. Is this the composition of the image or was it cropped in post?

Second the flowers are competing with each other for attention and the frame feels divided into two separate pictures. I would try just choosing one blossom and keeping it all in the frame.

I like the center of your forward facing flower and assume that this was the intended subject of the image. If this is so try narrowing what the viewer can see to just what you want to show. The background is also distracting as it is quite bright in relation to the flowers and also competes for the eye's attention. To remedy this with your particular image I would do a vertical crop immediately around the area you want people to focus on and leave as little of the background as possible making the blossom dominate. This will give your image some more impact.

I think overall this is a good submission that requires some refining with post processing. Looking forward to seeing other images from you.

I like the bright overall feeling of the shot and love the interior of the right hand blossom. I'm not as bothered about clipping the edges of subjects as some others and would probably get even tighter.
