New Years Day On The Beach

Went for a walk yesterday, weather wasn't so good and it was really windy - but camera in hand, of course!

I am very interested in comments about this one please . . .

I like your shot for several reasons, I love your composition and subject matter. My only criticism is the colours could be a little more vibrant. Other than that I love it! Cracking Shot!!

Are these the huts by Calshot?

I like the muted colours more realistic to the sea battered environment in the area.

My only real critique is the sky, shame there isn't a bit more colour in it, but I know what the weather we had was like. Cancelled a sailing day because the prediction of downpours in the afternoon and boy did it pour in Basingstoke.

Roger - it was at Milford, you were close! And the weather was awful - wasn't raining then but becoming extremely grey. I guess the summer will be the time for bright shots (although much less moody then!)
