New Year in Venice

Hi all .. my wife and I went off to Venice just after Christmas, and stayed there until New Year's Day - 6 days in total. This has got to be the most photogenic city on earth! I have some 440 images to sift through, but here are just three. The first was a lute player I came across in a square - I liked the medieval costume and the quasi-medieval background of the buildings. The second is just something I came across - for some reason an artist had left his painting just like this (maybe he'd gone off for lunch). The third is more "traditional", albeit converted to mono (I know I need to level the horizon a little on this one).
