    new user, need insight

Whats up guys! First off, my names Ben, new user here!

    Ok, here we go..

Need some advice....professional advice...opinions, anything. . I've been into photography for a while, but just can't seem to "grasp" it. I've been practicing and practicing, but can't seem to grab it by the horns and say "hey get it together!" I'd like some opionions or advice on some shots I have. **Warning, some of them ARE dusty and didn't notice it until I got them into photoshop, so I already know about that **

    I'll just post the links.......

I don't know, I think I'm on the right path, my composition skills are lacking. To get this far I've been reading Bryan Peterson books, 2 of them. "Understanding Exposure" and "Understanding Digital Photography" Great books. Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks in advance,
    Ben

Start by reading the stuck threads at the top of the Critique Forum page then post (on this site) one photo at a time for critique.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Hi Ben, welcome to PR The Critique gallery is really set-up for only a photo or 2 per thread. If possible, please select what you feel to be your best photo or 2 and I'm sure you will get plenty of advice from the members here. If you would like critiques on more, please start separate threads. I took a quick look though and looks like you are off to a good start  While you're at it, you might want to also post an introduction in our WELCOME thread.

    Happy Shooting,
    Aaron

    Hi, Ben and welcome.
Took a quick look and most consistant problem I saw was cutting things off or having parts leading off frame.....its a pet peeve of mine.
Post up one or two you like and some people will give you the good and bad.
    I've learned a lot here.
    Keep Shooting!

Welcome Ben. Thanks to MB1, Aaron, and Frog for starting you off on the right track. Have a look at the Critique forum guide lines at the top and keep in mind that this is a very helpful group of people here. Glad you found us, your photography is very interesting and I like the simple everyday subjects you shoot and the fresh perspectives with which you seem to view them in. Post a few different threads, each with an image to be seen instead of a link to click on. That will get you more responses usually alot quicker as well.
"HugeTower" and "ParkandLake14" are very good compositionally, although on the later I would have included more or all of the bench in the foreground. Good stuff, look forward to seeing more.
btw, introducing yourself in the Welcome Thread as Aaron suggested would be a great start
please do not edit and repost my photos
