    new portraits

    tryed a few self portrait photos with diffrent styles , i only used the normal celling light in my room and a black roller blind as a background

    Well, all 3 are obviously intended to be different. I would love the first one if there was even a tiny bit more detail(light) on the face. A matter of taste, I have to admit that I don't care for the other two shots.

    The guys and gals that specialize in portraiture might be able to give you a better read than me, but I like the tone of the top shot.......sort of shrouded in mystery, "the dark side" kind of shot. I think your use of the light in #2 was pretty good, but then again I'm not an expert on that type of shot. #3 is sort of a techno 80's kind of thing. Not exactly my cup 'o tea, but you did dare to be different.

    I like the second shot i think the light really works.
