New one of Naomi [Pic Attached]

This is another color shot from my first time working with Naomi. I originally passed this one over as an addition to my portfolio, but I keep coming back to it.
Shot on Fuji Press 400 film with my 50mm lens. I don't remember my settings, but it was pretty wide open.
Critiques and suggestions are welcome as always.

I think it may be too dark on the right, but as a print there may be more subtelty in the dark that I can't see on my monitor. I llike this.

I agree with Paul...a little too dark on the right side of her face. I think it has great potential, but just a tad too dark for me.

I think the one-sided effect works well here, my only suggestion is to crop slightly. It feels like it's leaning a bit too much towards negative space, and it's distracting me from the face.

[EDIT] I do have one more gripe, the brighter side of the face is the one that draws the eye, and as such I think that eye should have been in focus, or better yet both eyes.

I agree with Seb. The lack of sharpness in the eyes negates everything.

Re: New one of Naomi [Pic Attached]

Hmmm... I thought the one sharp eye was good enough in this instance, but I can see how it should at least be the one in the better light. Oh well. It's funny how different critiques can make you spot things that never even occurred to you to start with. I don't usually like to re-shoot, but it may be worth it to get a better version of this one. Thanks, guys!

Re: New one of Naomi [Pic Attached]

I agree that this one has a lot of potential.

    My likes:
    Lighting, not too dark
    Her expression
    Compositional idea

    Dislikes:
"Unflattering" in that it's a little too sharp for me
The light blue of her shoulder strap distracts from the otherwise monochromatic look
I would like to see a little more space to her right, I think she's a little tight in the frame

I see why you keep coming back to this. It is attention getting!
