    New member and first pictures!

    I joined the forum a few weeks ago since I was looking for a digital camera. Thanks to the advice provided, I was able to pretty much confirm my choice; I now own the Olympus E-500.

    I am showing some of the first pics that I have taken, constructive criticism will always be welcome since I am a noob and I do want to become better, hence why I am here

    Here are the links to the photographies I took since I think they are too big for the forum's standards.

    What I like about the first one is the people and the fountain off to the side and the sepia gives it a nice look.
    The second one is good, the black and white looks cool with the sunglasses and all, your friend posed really well for the picture.
    The flower one is nice but try playing with angles... I feel like i say that a lot but I love messing around with angles because I get some nice pictures i never expected to get. =)
    Nice picture though

    All that is gold does not glitter,
    Not all those who wander are lost;
    The old that is strong does not wither,
    Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
    From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
    A light from the shadows shall spring;
    Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
    The crownless again shall be king.
