    New K10D in action!

    Hi all

This afternoon I finally got a few hours to learn my way around my new Pentax K10D. Here are two of the results titled (imaginatively!) Garlic and Carnatians!

As always any comments are appreciated, especially as this kind of stuff is outside my normal area of expertise.

    Cheers

Hi trog ... yes it was the kit 18-55. Lighting was what was available: window to the right and a flourescent strip above. I did them in RAW so I could balance the colour manually. The garlic is pretty much full frame. The Carnatians are cropped quite a bit to make the vertical format.

they look like they have "proper" lighting so u must be doing something right.. he he

enjoy your new camera.. nice choice.. they say a sigma 17 x 70 makes a nice not too pricey alternative to the kit lens..
