Welcome to the boards and a pleasure to have you posting with us. Though your first one doesn't do much for me, the long, elongated shadows in the second one I love. Very nice. Both pictures seem a tad soft, which may be the jpeg compression. Also, with the second one, the two posts are a tad distrubing for me, but you do make the connection in your title about 'something old about to disappear' which makes the stakes important in this pic. Interesting few shots and welcome to the boards,
