New to the game!

Hi guys/gals! This is my first post here and I'm looking for some photo critique. I'm pretty new to the photography game, but I am learning. Any and all critique will be appreciated. After all, how can I learn if I don't know what I am doing wrong? I'll post up a few for now and add some more later.

Welcome to the forums. Your shots are looking REALLY good for a beginner! No real mistakes with the portrait, but the foreground flowers are a touch distracting. Small nit-pick on the second shot - you have to be very careful when using selective color that you remove ALL the green from the leaves, looks like you missed a bit directly under the honeymoon couple . I really like the unusual angles in the third, the parts you chose to keep level add some extra power to the storm that wouldn't be there if the far horizon had been leveled ~ Nice Work!
