    Nice panning.

I think you could crop the top of the image off so there is only the dogs, the railing, the track and the wall. Likely this would make for a much stronger final image.
    No, I DON'T need that.

beautiful shot.....though I agree with MB1 the top needs to cropped as the shapes there hold the eye too long.
    Look through a glass eye.
    Give it a few tries.

    thanks guys.

i tried that crop at first and i just thought the dimensions of the final image felt a little weird because it was cropped so short. but i think you guys are right and i should just do it.

I am also a fan of wide panoramas. I like the angle, and I particularly like how the first 3 are in the greatest focus, then it trails off with the next 4.

I'd say for the first time trying this type of shot, you did pretty doggone well. No pun intended

    Re: Mach 5

I really like the motion in this photo and the combination of the different focuses throughout. I do agree that the photo should be cropped down to remove the back wall and though I like the color it adds to the photo, the hose in center right is a bit distracting though there isn't much you can do about it. Overall, a winner in my book. I get excited just looking at it though I do have to focus on the subjects pretty hard to make it past the back wall.

Now that's a purtiful pitcher! heh Now that I really look at it, the hose looks like a lasso shooting out to grab one of the dogs as they pass by!
