    Neon Sunrise

I got up early again and this time I knew that the sky was set right for a good sunrise, so I was able to get the ladder out onto my deck and wait for the colors to come... and come they did. This photo, while good, doesn't even show just how bright and "hot" the clouds were. It looked just like the color in a bright neon sign.

Decent, but still needs a punchline. Imho, I think there should also be something on the left side.

I was expecting to see some neon signs btw Idea for the future?

I agree. Too bad I'm never really anywhere else in the morning when the sun comes up... Someday....

Neon was meant to describe the color.

I love the patterns in the clouds. Teh colours are nicely dramatic. The tree to the right is an excellent addition and a benefit to the shot over all. I don't feel there is anything missing personally. The left side and the sky is so interesting that it holds the eyes all on it's own.

Just out of curiosity, how was the weather later in the day? Red sky in the morning and all. Definitely a warning sky.

    Nice Photo!

Did you use multiple exposures for High Dynamic Range (HDR) in this photo?
or was this done with one exposure?

Great color and the tree helps a lot. I'm undecided if it needs something on the left.
If this is the widest angle your lens has, you might want to try a pano next time.
You're lucky to be able to see it from your place. I'd have to drive several miles to see it like this.

    Re: Neon Sunrise

Was one exposure, and yes it started raining at about 6:30 PM, but was overcast all day otherwise. That's not the widest lens I have. I think I was maybe zoomed at 60mm or so. If I were to zoom out more I would start getting pieces of other trees in the shot which I dont want. You can see the last sunrise shot I posted which shows the whole view from my deck and you'll see what I mean. I just like to have complete trees, not parts.
