I have been doing digital photography for the past few years, especially on my extensive travels. For the last two months I have worked hard on developing my online digital portfolio at www.simantini.com. I would like to have an gallery showing of my photographs in the coming year. Hello Simantini, welcome aboard

I take the liberty to write to you right here as I think that it would be interesting to openly hear and discuss people opinions (beside, private answers actually defeat the purpose of this board).

I am not knowledgeable about web designing but I can tell you that I definately appreciate your site for its stripped down, elegant aesthetic and its overall simplicity. I am a bit concerned about the time it takes to load (I have an high speed internet connection and the loading time is a bit excessive in my view). Otherwise, it is a neat website.

Selecting 3 favorites pictures is a tricky task. You have solid shots in your portfolio. My personal choices are:

no.4 Sand of time for its simplicity and its strong graphic quality what all those curves in the sand

no.5 The gathering storm for the striking pastel colours of the grass and the focusing line that the fence create

no.10 Introspection for its terrific sky and the remarkable play of light and shadows on the mountains.
