    Near Canterbury

I shot this during a vacation in England with my first digital camera, a Canon G2.

Most likely, I had the wide angle attachment on it. It never came off the camera.

I have a feeling there are lots of technical errors....but I still like the shot.

    Opinions?

Interesting shot. I think for this to work for me you'd have to crop off a large portion of the top and really focus on the subject and the movement. There's great potential here, but things just don't seem to work all together. The color seems off (a bluish tint) and the lighting is awfully over exposed up on the top. Try the crop, but I'm not sure if that'll help much.

I did a little bit of channel mixer in PS to get rid of the blue tint. To get rid of the overexposed sky, I had to crop out the subject on the right to keep proportion. I added a touch of sharpen since I re-enlarged the file.

Is it better this way or did I change the meaning of the picture entirely?

You did well to get rid of the tint, but I'd still include the girl on the right. Make it almost a "faux" panoramic type feel. You could probably even crop a little more off the top if you include the girl, as I think you could get away quite nicely with a "tight" crop on the three subjects.

    Well done.
