    NCAA Tounement

    Here are a couple shots from the reccent Men's soccer NCAA Tournement action. Any thoughts?

    As a bunch they are all fine photos. As you can see from the number of responses it is very hard to critique so many photos.

    Pick one that you want critiqued and post it by itself. You'll get a better response.

    Out of all of them I like the last one the best. All the others have to a varying degree too much distraction in the background. Not much you can do about it though in most cases.

    I just shot a youth soccer game on Saturday and some of the best shots were of the kids running down the sidelines. I got less background that way. All the parents sitting in lawn chairs were on the opposite side of the field and the view was terrible.

    I like the last image the best because there is the least in it. It has great expression, movement and little to distract the viewer-you could even crop tighter from the top.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Yeah your right its tuff with distracting backrounds. With the 100-400mm L series lens all the way extended the F-stop 8, plus all the players running around, one will hardly ever get the perfect backround shooting soccer. I like the last one as well and was thinking about submitting only that one for critique but I figured I may have a biased oppinion being thats its one of my best freiends..lol
