    nature's foothold ...

    ... on the edge of a bridge.

    If I ws any good in PS, I'd clone out the tiny twigs by the bolt.
    How else can I improve this?

    I would crop the bolt in half, and on the other side crop so that the left side is in focus.

    Such great color and detail. However, I agree with GRF. You need to decide which is the focal point of the composition: the bolt or the green beans (whatever they are). Once you've decided, crop accordingly... left or right. I also see this as a vertical format, not horizontal. Nice job!

    As with Robert and GRF pointed out, a crop has to be made. I think you could have two potential shots here, but it matters how you end up cropping it. I love the textures of the leaves and the bolt...great colors too.
