    PBD - Not a bad subject, but the lighting and angle could be better. Perhaps taken from the other side facing out and up to the sky where that red background isn't so overwhelming. Also looks a little soft - try to use a tripod if the SS is too slow.

    Good subject but I think the snow diagonal across the leaf background isn't working.
    Can't explain why but its what I see.

    I would have to agree the dark and busy background is a bit distracting, and I'm actually curious as to whether that background would make a good subject in itself. There's some interesting patterns back there.

    Focus is too soft. I really like the title though.These kinds of abstract meanings are very hard to convey.
