    Nature/Flower shots

Tell me what you think of my 2 slideshows. (Most of these shots are taken in the central cascades of Washington state).

    Re: Nature/Flower shots

ok, I just viewed your flower series and the first one is definitely my favorite along with the butter fly ones at the end. Having said that, it is much easier if you post the shots here one at a time if you're looking for serious critique because:

    1. It took me a while to download the PDF. Most people would just move on and there goes your chances at getting any feed back.

    2. Even for those that stick through the download, they'll find the shots will move too quickly to grasp them and look through them. The first of your series was pretty nice IMO but I don't recall what the insect was on the white flower!! a bee or what? I don't recall. Again, posting the shot here (one at a time) would allow for viewers to look through the whole shot and not just a 5 second preview and FADE.

    3. If you're posting them here, you're gonna have to eliminate a few that maybe you don't think are strong enough to warrant any critique. I've seen a couple of those in that slide that I went through.

I'll go through your other album now and let you know which one I think is the best, if I recall which one after it's done that is ;)

    And welcome to PR jess.

    Re: Nature/Flower shots

I didn't think your 2nd slide was as good as your first. But I still liked a few shots. I took screen shots of a couple of them. (on the second view!!)

    I like this one.

I also think this one has potential if you fix the major tilt here. The clouds are magnificant and so is the deep blue sky.

I will second what LeeIs said, jess. Take some of your better shots from the slide shows and post them here. You have some really nice shots there in the flowers show. It would be easier for folks to view them and give them more time to for a good critique.

Welcome to PR and hope to see more of your stuff on here.

I would brighten the colors and up the contrast to make things stand out if I were you. Great photos.
