I like the composition and the tunnel effect a lot. The only thing that bugs me about this image is that the green overwhelms some of the other details and subtle aspects of the photo. This may have as much to do with when you shot it as the color itself (both time of day and seasonally). I don't know what colors those leaves turn in fall but my guess is, a fall sunset shot of this same scene would be perfect.

    Hello Yoyo,

My feeling on your picture somewhat rejoin PuckJunckey point of view. I like the composition but the very first thing that crossed my mind when I first saw it was that the lighthing was harsh (not awfully harsh but too harsh to allow me to fully enjoy the photo). It is an interesting picture but I clearly feel that it could be more if taken at a more opportune time (which is usually not the case with your work).

On another note, I you seen my reply to your previous picture? I am curious to know about the exact camera used (a simple APS or one of those very rare 6x9 camera???).

    best regards

    Seb

Hi PJ, Thanks for your comment.
Hi Seb, Thanks for your comment. The last shot I posted was taken with a Hasselblad XPan and a 45 mm lens. The film was Velvia 100F.
    All the best.

I like this Yoyo, but agree about the lighting and the overwhelming green. This scene has much potential.

    a suggestion....

concerning the overwelming green, consider cropping the left side off a bit. this will remove some green and the most harsh green in the upper left corner. maybe crop a bit off the right, too
