I shot this photo last July, and it was impromptu. My friend was getting ready to go out, and I had my camera in the bedroom. I shot this with a 16-35 2.8L at 16mm, ISO 400, close in, and metered off her dress. In photoshop I added a slight blur filter and a slight "halo" of romantic glow. My own critique is that I like the pose, but should have shot a higher angle. (I would have had to stand on the bed for that). The other critique I have is that I can't believe I got the bathrobe in the shot! It had been in the closet, but she wore it out of the shower and I forgot to close the closet door.... grrrrrrr. It's the little things that you have to look out for!
